The Reverse® came about because George was watching his favourite soap while making a batch of cookies. He was distracted by Dr. Drake’s miraculous bedside manner and started pouring dark cocoa to the Classic mix. Turning off the Hobart (that’s Cookie Speak for ‘mixer’) he knocked a bunch of almonds into the batter.
At that point, he figured he’d already turned the Classic ‘inside out’ so why not just add white chocolate chunks? This happy mishap took place 30 years ago, and since then George’s Reverse cookie is often imitated, never replicated.

Trace amounts of soy lecithin.
Brown sugar, white chocolate, flour, margarine, cocoa powder, eggs, almonds, butter, cream, vanilla extract, baking powder, baking soda, salt.
