On March 29, 1983, the first Cookies By GeorgeŽ store was opened in Vancouver. When the
doors opened, the customers lined up daily outside the store for one of "George's Cookies"! The
first franchised location was opened in Edmonton in 1985.
Today the company consists of 14 franchise locations and is owned and operated by Judah Busheikin of Edmonton, who was that first franchisee...he liked the cookies so much he bought the company! Judah can be reached at judah@cookiesbygeorge.com. |
