How much notice do I need to give for my donation request?

Due to the high volume of donation requests we receive, please allow a minimum of 6-8 weeks' notice.

I submitted my request weeks ago. How come I have not received a response?

Cookies By George is a small company, and only one member of our team takes care of donation requests! We receive so many donation requests that it can take more time than usual for us to respond. We take note of everyone's donation deadlines and event dates and organize them by month. We appreciate your patience!

What kind of donations can Cookies By George contribute to my charity organization?

We can provide in-kind donation items, such as donation gift cards, coupons for grab bags, and cookies!

My charity organization is not yet registered. Can I still submit a request?

Donation requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. While you can still submit a request if your charity organization is unregistered, please note that we prioritize registered charities and may not be able to accommodate your request.

I am looking for a sponsor for my event. Can Cookies By George help?

Because we are a small, local business, we unfortunately cannot provide monetary sponsorships or cash donations.

My charity organization has many events coming up. Can I submit a request for all of my events with one form?

While this would indeed be very convenient, please only submit one donation request per event at a time. Cookies By George tries to donate to as many local charities as we can, so we typically only provide one donation per charity organization/event per year.

Can Cookies By George provide ongoing donations, or partner with our charity organization?

We do our best to donate to as many charity organizations as we can. Due to our current number of donation commitments, we are unable to accept continuous donation partnership requests at this time.

Can Cookies By George support my school or athletic group/sports team with a donation?

All donation requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Unless your school, athletic group or sports team is raising funds for a registered non-profit charity organization such as the United Way or similar charity, we are unlikely to accommodate your request. This is due to the very high volume of requests we receive. We wish we could support everyone!

Cookies By George accepted my donation request last year, but not this year. What changed?

Because donation requests are in high demand, we sometimes rotate between charity organizations to ensure we are supporting as many as we can. For those whom we donated to last year, we may decline a request this year in order to allow different local charity requests to come through. The following year, we will then be able to accept a request again.
